2013

The Year 2012

Ticking its way
Tick tock tick
The watch on wall
watched it all
to make it happen
the year in months
and days and hours
second by second
it allowed to pass
slipping it down
in the history
where the mysteries
of all time
remains at the bottom
of  the abyss
The year 2012 is going
with all its fears
that threatened the peace
and pace of mankind
that raised a dust of fear
making it terrible for all
with the prediction of fall
of doom and death
that lurched the minds of many
on the earth
the year is going to be
bygone for all.
Hopes survived it all
not perished still
waiting for the sun
to rise on the dark horizon
to bring a shimmering light
Ring in 2013
a little cute
all pink and rosy
the beautiful lamb
that grows the wool
that allows you
to weave
dreams and desires
in the fabric of hope

The star spangled
sky of the previous night
sang for it
The sang the song of New Year.

Books

Dying at a slow pace
Placed in the middle and below
High and low
The glass cased
Locked doors
With rusted keyholes
Books are left to die,
They are their to breathe their last
The smell of rot is everywhere
In the air
Damp, suffocating
The termites
Eat into the spine and pages
Seams and papers
Words and sentences
Paras and pages
The whole of book
Book are left to die
The thoughts and ideas
Poetry and fictions
Essays and logic
History and mysteries
Travels and voyages
Ventures and Adventures
All gone is let begone
Books are dying
in the ignorance.

To Woman

To Woman

Softer than the fragrant wind
That carries the soft murmuring
Of silky butterflies
You are
softer than the subtlest thought
That a poet could weave
In words and sounds
O beauteous elf like being
Keep safe distance
from the prickly spines
which raise their heads
as you pass.
The vicious smiles
The virtuous beings
The priests and priestly divine
Are none but all
The hounds that feed their egos
On their innate drives
Harmful for you.
Keep safe distance.
Be emboldened
To strike like streak of lightning
From the sky
To cut the hills asunder
In halves
To boil the oceans into vapors
To keep the tsunamis
at your beck and call
Be a fire at least for those
Who tend to appease their
desires fiercely and
ferociously
you need to fight them back
Fight them back at speed of light
Fight back
Once and always
And keep it as a part of your spirit.
Fight back
With all your might
And strike
As hard as you can
Be yourself
within your right.
